Kiss, Marry, Kill – The ‘I Want A Fictional Partner’ Edition

Hey you guys and welcome to a brand new post! For today’s post – as you can probably tell by the title, we’ll be doing a fun little tag! And with it being Valentine’s Day yesterday, I figured this would be the perfect way to celebrate – by deciding which fictional characters I would Kiss, Marry or Kill. I mean, who doesn’t like a bit of murder on a day all about love.

I took a look at all of my read books and wrote down 30 characters that I’ll be picking people from for this game! I also asked for people to send me numbers on Twitter to help make this post! So, how about we just jump right in!

Caro suggested 4, 8 and 16 which turns out to be: Rose Hathaway, Chaol Westfall and Rhy Maresh.

And I honestly can’t believe that I am starting this round off with such a difficult decision already because I actually really like all of these characters??? I was hoping to start out with some easier. xD But okay. I will kiss Rhy, marry Rose and kill Chaol even though I really like him. But I just simply couldn’t kill Rose or put Rhy through any more trouble. He’s been through enough.

Sandra suggested 6, 14 and 25 which turns out to be: Inej Ghafa, Tessa Gray and Stormhound.

I have no idea what I did to deserve this kind of cruelness but okay, we’ll deal with this. I think it’s no secret that I love Tessa and Inej – a lot. But I don’t talk enough about my love for Stormhound so you guys might not even know how much this hurts to do. *deep breaths* I’ll kiss Inej, marry Stormhound and kill Tessa (who is a warlock and would 100% find a way around me trying to kill her, so she’ll live).

Up next I got 1, 2 and 9 which turns out to be: Will Herondale, Magnus Bane and Queen Levana.

I feel like if you’ve read the Lunar Chronicles you can pretty much guess which character I am going to kill because they are just horrible. So, I’ll kiss Will, marry Magnus and kill Queen Levana.

Next, we got 11, 22 and 17 which turns out to be: Jem Carstairs, Dimitri Belikov, and Elias Veturius.

I would like to have a serious word with the random number generator I used for giving me these characters together. This is just cruel and I don’t deserve any of it. Let’s see, I think I’ll kiss Elias, marry Jem (to the surprise of absolutely no one) and that means I’ll have to kill Dimitri. I’m sorry my friend but I can’t possibly put Elias through even more horrible things. The guy has been through enough.

Now, we got 21, 13 and 18 which turns out to be: Alec Lightwood, Gansey and Lada Dracula. 

No, seriously what is up with that number generator! xD But, I’ll kiss Alec (on the head and tell him how much I love him), marry Lada (I feel like she would come after me in the afterlife if I tried to kill her – or I’d end up dead, more likely than her) and unfortunately that means I’ll have to kill Gansey. Sorry dude, but your faith doesn’t seem to be all that good.

Okay, let’s see we have 12, 15 and 28 which turns out to be: Carswell Thorne, Kaz Brekker, and Lazlo Strange.

What an interesting group of guys we have here! So, I’ll kiss Kaz, marry Carswell (the man is just SO charming and I feel like you’d have a ton of fun!) and kill Lazlo.

Next, we have 3, 24 and 10 which turns out to be: Adrian Ivashkov, Isabelle Lightwood and Rhysand.

Had I done this tag a couple of years ago, I would’ve jumped at the opportunity to marry young Mr. Ivashkov but unfortunately for him, it’s been a couple of years since I read the series and fell in love with him and other characters have won over my heart since. So, I’ll kiss Izzy, marry Rhysand (how could I not?) and use a non-lethal method to kill Adrian.

Now we have 23, 27 and 29 which turns out to be Ronan Lynch, Simon Spier and Monty.

I said this on Twitter last night and I’ll say it again: I am refusing to play this round for reasons you’ll probably understand if you’ve read these books. While these are fictional characters and this is just a fun game, I don’t want to kill off either of them and I am not going to say I’d marry a character that is gay. Let’s just go with a kiss on the head or cheek.

Okay, second to last round we have 5, 26 and 30 which turns out to be the Darkling, Cassian and Dorian Havilliard.

Uhh! Okay, I am going to kiss Dorian, marry Cassian (thank you random number generator for not putting him with any of the other ACOMAF guys) and that leaves me with killing the Darkling – which I don’t mind.

And lastly, we have 7, 19 and 20 which turns out to be Azriel, Prince Cardan and Lucien.

I kind of can’t decide if I find this easy or difficult to do. I feel like the only answer I’m set on is Azriel because I am marrying him. No questions asked. Okay, I’ll kiss Lucien, marry Azriel and kill Cardan – I hope I won’t have to deal with the consequences. xD

Okay, there we have it! A fun and easy post for you guys on a Thursday night! As I’m still trying to get back into the swing of things I might post these types more often just to give myself the chance to get back into the rhythm of things! 🙂
