About Me

jPokhGbk_400x400Dear reader! I’m guessing if you’ve made your way over to this page you’re probably trying to get to know me a little bit better beyond what I shared in the sidebar – which, fair enough! Let’s hope you’ll find what you’re looking for!

As you’ve already seen, my name is Swetlana (though family and friends usually just go with Sweta) and I’m now the sole person running this blog! It used to be me and Sandra, but she got really busy with school and decided to take a step back – you can read more about it here! I am a 27-year-old bookworm from Germany who loves coffee a little bit too much –  hence the URL for this blog!

Whenever I am not spending my time reading or writing for this blog, I can be found listening to music (honestly, my music is never turned off unless I’m watching something), watching Netflix or spending time with my family. I am a very proud aunt and usually can’t shut up about my nephews – though not so much on the blog. But definitely on my social media.

I’m also the type of person to take too many pictures. Of my nephews. Of food. Of books. And anything else that might grab my attention. I love being able to look back at old pictures and getting those same happy feelings again – it’s why I’ve shared almost 850 pictures on my Instagram account in about 5 years.

To be honest with you, this blog was truly a spur of the moment decision and I was lucky enough that Sandra agreed to run it with me for as long as she did! We learned quite a lot since we started and I hope to continue this blog for a long time with all of the things we have learned and anything and everything I have yet to learn. It’s gonna be an exciting time for sure!

Thank you guys so much for reading this and for sticking with us (or me, now) through all of those months! I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you and me!
